The goal was to keep the interface simple and structure the content in a way that a bit of a narrative played out as you scrolled down the site. Each content section was stacked on a long page with smaller interactions that pulled in more content. This helped keep it simple for the viewer with a few minutes to get an idea of who WINTR is but also let the more interested user explore all of the contentThe style was based off of the previous site design and branding work. The contest lived within Snowbird's facebook presence allowing entrants to easily upload their video and share it with their friends. Voting took place in two phases. First the finalists were chosen by the facebook community. The top skiers and snowboards were then judged by industry pro's to determine who had the sickest edit.You can view the winner's edit here. We wanted MINI to take advantage of this so we pitched the idea of MINI Mix, an online community where MINI Motorists can share photos, stories, badges and events.We concepted a feature called eCarmony which gave each MINI a detailed profile page similar to what facebook offers for us humans. So we created MarioSuperSluggersCards.com, a digital album that allowed kids to collect baseball cards hidden online and use them to unlock hidden game footage, special features and more. The result was a conversation that lasted for months. Game knowledge became school yard currency as kids bragged about the cards they’d found and what they knew about the game.
